How to connect Salesforce to Teamfluence

Learn more about all the features offered by Salesforce integration

Teamfluence users can connect their Salesforce CRM (SF) and act on newly activated prospects. Once connected and configured, you will be able to get their recent updates and have a complete overview of your LinkedIn sourced prospects as your contacts.

What Teamfluence → Salesforce integration can do?

Every time your team or AI agent qualifies a lead, Teamfluence will push it to your CRM system and populate additional fields on a Contact object. Existing records are checked first by LinkedIn URL, contact name and email. Related Account data is also being populated when applicable.

Read more about the fields we populate in Contact properties.

Connect Salesforce

In order to authorize access to SF inside your Teamspace, you need to have an administrator role in your SF instance.

Navigate to Teamspace setting → Integrations page and select Salesforce app.

You will be redirected to an authorization page, where you'll need to confirm the action.

Note: if you’re already using any other CRM integration, Teamfluence will use the newly connected app as a primary destination for your prospects. You can still use other integrations for importing and exporting the data.

Configure the app

Once the app was authorized, click on "Manage" button and update settings according to your preferences.

Contact default Lead Source (optional) - select default value of a lead source to be set by Teamfluence integration.

Contact LinkedIn URL property (optional) - select existing Contact field, where you store a LinkedIn profile URL (e.g. https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamhgates/) if you have one already configured in your SF Contact object.

Contact LinkedIn Handle property (optional) - select existing Contact field, where you store a LinkedIn profile Handle (e.g. williamhgates) if you have one already configured in your SF Contact object.

Contact properties

Once connected, Teamfluence app creates a set of new fields on the Contact object.

  • Teamfluence Account-Based [Contact.TFABMMatch__c ] - a checkbox indicating if prospect was sourced from your ABM list of accounts.

  • Teamfluence ICP Match [Contact.TFICPMatch__c ] - a checkbox indicating if prospect was qualified by AI agent using your ICP description.

  • Teamfluence URL [Contact.TFLeadDetails__c] (Lead details page URL in Teamfluence app)

  • Teamfluence Lead Source [Contact.TFSourceEvent__c] (LinkedIn source event that produced the lead). Possible options:

  • Teamfluence Engagement Score [Contact.TFEngagementScore__c] - prospect engagement score, based on a number and type of interactions with your company.

  • Teamfluence Engagement Events Count [Contact.TFEngagementEventsCount__c] - total number of engagement events collected so far.

  • Teamfluence Lead Tags [Contact.TFTags__c] - a list of tags attached to the prospect.

  • Teamfluence Connection Strength [Contact.TFConnectStrength__c ] - a number of connected team members.

Update your Contact layout

You can optionally add newly created fields to your Contact layout. Navigate to Setup menu → Setup → Object manager → Contact → Page Layouts.

Select any field with Teamfluence_ prefix and drag it to the Contact layout below.
