Worried about the Apollo Ban?

Whatever happened to Apollo and Seamless, here is why it is not relevant for Teamfluence users

Hey there,

We’ve been getting a lot of questions from worried LinkedIn users about Apollo (ZenLeads, Inc.) and Seamless.ai (Seamless Contacts, LLC) being "banned" from LinkedIn.

As with everything on LinkedIn—take it with a grain of salt.

Despite all the clickbait, panic posting, and speculation yelling (typically presented as "facts"), the only thing that’s certain is this: No one actually knows what happened.

Or if anything even happened at all.

All we know is that two company profiles for two popular tools are currently unavailable. That’s it. That’s the whole story.

What does this mean for Teamfluence users? Absolutely nothing.

Here’s why:

1.) We are not data scrapers

Teamfluence does not scrape LinkedIn data or resell it.

While some are speculating that Apollo or Seamless got "banned" for data scraping, that’s irrelevant to Teamfluence.

We only help you gather and organize your own data—the data that’s already yours: your profile visitors, your connections, posts from your feed, etc. We don’t brute-force scrape other people's information into lead lists.

2.) You legally own your own data

Your LinkedIn contacts are your personal address book. They belong to you.

Your LinkedIn DMs are your inbox. They belong to you.

Your posts, comments, and the people engaging with them? That’s your network.

LinkedIn provides the platform for these interactions and has its Terms of Service. But their Terms of Service are not the law. You have a right to access, manage, and utilize your own data—within legal and ethical guidelines.

3.) Ethically sourced data enrichment

Unlike tools that rely on scraping LinkedIn or violating its policies, Teamfluence operates within legal boundaries. Yes, we enrich email addresses with third-party data, but that data is legally obtained from compliant sources—not from LinkedIn. This means you can expand your reach without violating platform rules or engaging in questionable data practices.

Bottom line: If you use Teamfluence, nothing changes.

Your data is still yours. Your workflow stays the same. Your ability to use LinkedIn for business is completely unaffected.

Stay focused,
